- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ziti according to package instructions; drain.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
- Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked ziti, meat sauce, ricotta cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
