Baked maple donuts with a sweet maple glaze.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, maple syrup, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fill a donut pan with the batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- Let donuts cool for a few minutes.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with maple syrup.
- Dip each donut into the glaze and let set.
Notes
- Store donuts in an airtight container.
- Can substitute maple syrup with honey if desired.
- Use a piping bag for easier glazing.
