- 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (about 8–10 pounds)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 can pineapple slices (in juice)
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
- Place the ham in a roasting pan.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, pineapple juice, mustard, and ground cloves.
- Pour the glaze over the ham, ensuring it covers well.
- Arrange pineapple slices on top of the ham and secure with toothpicks.
- Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Leftover ham can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Consider serving with roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
