Description

Delicious baked ham and cheese croissants perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 4 croissants
  • 200g cooked ham, sliced
  • 150g cheese, shredded (like Swiss or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
  3. Spread Dijon mustard on the inside of each croissant half.
  4. Layer ham and cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Place the top half of the croissant back on.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

  • Use any type of cheese you prefer.
  • For extra flavor, add herbs or spices.
