- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine milk, applesauce, egg, and vanilla.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and cinnamon to make the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the fritters after they cool slightly.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
