- 1 pound white fish fillets
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix cornmeal, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge the fish fillets in the cornmeal mixture.
- Place the fish on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- In a blender, combine mayonnaise, avocado, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
- Warm the tortillas in a skillet.
- Assemble tacos by placing fish, cabbage, and cilantro on tortillas.
- Drizzle with avocado crema and serve with lime wedges.
Notes
- Feel free to use any white fish.
- Adjust spices to your preference.
