Description
A rich and creamy chocolate pudding infused with Baileys Irish Cream.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup Baileys Irish Cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan, whisk together milk, Baileys, sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour pudding into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Before serving, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form and top the pudding.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, substitute Baileys with additional milk or cream.
- This pudding can be made a day in advance for best results.
