A delicious appetizer made with crispy bacon and crunchy water chestnuts.
Ingredients

- 1 pound bacon
- 2 cans water chestnuts, drained
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut bacon strips in half.
- Wrap each water chestnut with a half strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar and soy sauce.
- Place wrapped chestnuts on a baking sheet.
- Brush the mixture over the bacon-wrapped chestnuts.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the water chestnuts in soy sauce for an hour before wrapping.
- Serve hot for best taste.
