Delicious bacon mushroom pork chops for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil, onions, and garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  5. Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Sear in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Add chicken broth and crumbled bacon to the skillet.
  7. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
