Description

A delicious grilled cheese sandwich with avocado, mozzarella, and tomato.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • Butter for spreading

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Layer avocado, mozzarella, and tomato on the bread.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
  5. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden and cheese melts.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use whole grain bread for extra fiber.
  • Add basil for more flavor.
