Description
A classic Italian dish featuring baked spaghetti with rich tomato sauce and melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 400g spaghetti
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add marinara sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked spaghetti, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Pour the sauce over the spaghetti mixture and stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cooked ground meat or vegetables.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
