Aussie minced lamb and spinach bake is a hearty dish that combines ground lamb with spinach and a creamy topping.


Ingredients

  • 500g minced lamb
  • 200g fresh spinach
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a pan, cook minced lamb until browned.
  3. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  4. Stir in fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta, eggs, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  6. Combine the lamb mixture with the ricotta mixture.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
