  • Heavy cream: 1/2 cup (120 ml), plus extra for garnish
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons (for sautéing)

Instructions

  1. Wash the fresh asparagus thoroughly under cold water and trim the tough ends.
  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion for about 5 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped asparagus to the pot and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
