Ingredients

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup chopped vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, broccoli)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Rub the mixture all over the turkey.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast for 3 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
- While the turkey roasts, cook jasmine rice in chicken broth according to package instructions.
- Sauté chopped vegetables in a pan until tender.
- Serve turkey with rice and vegetables.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
