Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 package pectin (1.75 oz)
  • 5 cups granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Collect dandelion petals and remove any green parts.
  2. Boil the petals in water for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the liquid and add lemon juice.
  4. Mix the pectin into the liquid and bring to a boil.
  5. Add sugar gradually, stirring constantly until dissolved.
  6. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  7. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.

Notes

  • Use only flowers from areas free of pesticides.
  • Let jelly set for 24 hours before using.
