- 4 cups fresh apricots, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix apricots with 1/2 cup sugar and set aside.
- In another bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Spread the apricot mixture evenly over the batter.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
- Can substitute fresh apricots with canned or frozen.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of apricots.
