Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in milk until a dough forms.
  5. In another bowl, combine apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  6. Roll out dough and cut into circles.
  7. Place apple mixture on half of each circle.
  8. Fold and seal the edges.
  9. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add nutmeg to the apple mixture.
