  • Eggs – 2 large
  • Milk – 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • Vegetable oil – 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • Diced apples – 1 1/2 cups (about 2 medium apples)
  • Optional add-ins: Chopped nuts, raisins, oats, vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×5-inch (23×13 cm) loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add milk and vegetable oil, mixing until smooth.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
  6. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
