- 1 cup apple butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the apple butter, brown sugar, and butter.
- Add the egg and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Let cool on a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- You can add walnuts or raisins for extra texture.
