Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 ½ cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add oil and salt to the mixture.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place the loaf in a greased pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use milk instead of water.
- Store bread in an airtight container.
- Slice after cooling for best results.
