A traditional Amish dessert made with oats and a sweet filling.
Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix rolled oats, brown sugar, white sugar, and melted butter.
- Add eggs, milk, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon to the mixture and stir well.
- Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until set.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Top with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
