- 4 cups milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar.
- Add the milk, vanilla, salt, and nutmeg. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until the custard is set and a knife comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm or chilled.
- Can be topped with whipped cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
