Crispy air fryer onion rings made from scratch.
Ingredients

- 2 large onions, sliced into rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dip each onion ring in the flour mixture, then in the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the onion rings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray the onion rings with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
- Remove and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
