Ingredients
- Potatoes: 4 medium-sized (Russet or Yukon Gold work best)
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
- Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
- Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon (optional for extra flavor)
Instructions
- Select the right potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold).
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into even-sized sticks.
- In a large bowl, combine the potato sticks with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (360°F) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Once golden-brown and crispy, remove from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes for extra crispiness.
