A simple recipe for making beef jerky using an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of beef (sirloin or flank steak)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the beef into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Add the beef strips to the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat the air fryer to 160°F (70°C).
- Remove the beef from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
- Place the beef strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 4-6 hours, checking for doneness every hour.
- Once the jerky is dry and chewy, remove it from the air fryer and let it cool.
Notes
- Store jerky in an airtight container.
- Homemade jerky can last for up to 2 weeks at room temperature.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
