Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 330°F (165°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, then add butter, vanilla, and almond extracts.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in chopped almonds.
  6. Shape the dough into logs and place them in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for 25 minutes or until golden.
  8. Remove, let cool slightly, then slice into pieces.
  9. Return slices to the air fryer and cook for an additional 10 minutes to crisp up.
