A simple recipe for delicious 5 ingredient amaretto truffles.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup crushed almonds
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it starts to simmer.
- Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth.
- Add the amaretto liqueur and mix well.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until firm.
- Using a scoop, form small balls from the chocolate mixture.
- Roll the balls in cocoa powder or crushed almonds.
- Place truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate until set.
Notes
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Let truffles sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
